Keith is here to provide expert support every step of the way and will partner with you on your journey to financial success. Outside of work, you can find Keith playing golf or cooking with his wife Sara.

Having been at Barter Durgan since 2010, she enjoys turning complex accounting challenges into manageable solutions, known for her down to earth style, she will make the financial process as smooth as possible for clients. Always ready to assist, she’s here to make your accounting experience enjoyable and stress-free. Away from the office, you might catch Chelzea enjoying quality time with family and friends, which keeps her grounded and energised. She is passionate about live performances; you’ll often find her at concerts or theatre shows. Known as the ‘Karaoke Queen’, Chelzea is always ready to belt out a tune whenever there’s a mic around.

Emma has a strong background in finance and a passion for helping clients succeed, after working for a local firm of accountants, she joined Barter Durgan in 2016. Emma is dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals. With her friendly approach, Emma takes pride in building strong relationships with clients from all walks of life and making the world of finance feel a little less complicated. Emma believes in making accounting approachable and is excited to work with you. Outside of the office, Emma cherishes spending time with friends and family, especially when it involves outdoor adventures with her daughter. Whether it’s taking the dog for a walk, enjoying a leisurely beach stroll, or exploring woodland trails, she feels most at home in nature. In her downtime, you can find her enjoying soft play or creating crafts and paintings with her little one, watching a good film, or relaxing with a cosy night in.

Gayna Langley
Bookkeeping
With a sharp eye for detail and a love for numbers, Gayna has been keeping clients’ accounts organised and running smoothly at Barter Durgan since 2015, helping take the stress out of managing your books. Her friendly and approachable manner makes her popular with the clients. When she’s not working her magic, Gayna can be found caring for her two children and supporting their passion for go-karting.
Gayna loves treating herself to massages, enjoying delicious chocolate, and sipping her favourite tea.
Jenny Sharp
VAT, Bookkeeping & Payroll
With Jenny on the team, your VAT, bookkeeping, and payroll are in expert hands. Jenny joined Barter Durgan in 2019 and has over 25 years’ experience. Whether it's managing VAT returns, keeping your books perfectly balanced, or making sure payroll runs smoothly, Jenny handles it all with ease. Jenny loves turning tricky financial tasks into stress-free solutions for clients. When she isn’t sorting out the numbers, you can find Jenny enjoying time with her family, indulging in her love for crafting, or taking long walks. She finds joy in life’s simple pleasures. These activities help bring fresh energy into everything she does.

Sue has been with us since 1998 and has years of experience helping individuals make sense of their tax returns, she is here to make the process smooth and stress-free. Whether it's maximising your deductions or answering those tricky tax questions, Sue is always ready to help you get the best results. Outside of tax season, you’ll find Sue at the gym or enjoying a run outdoors —nothing beats the fresh air! She loves to travel and explore new places, soaking up different cultures and cuisines. Above all, Sue cherishes spending time with her family.

Accounts, Tax & Payroll
When it comes to handling your accounts, taxes, and payroll, Lee is the expert who keeps everything running smoothly. From managing accounts and navigating tax rules to making sure payroll runs like clockwork, Lee handles it all with a smile. He has loved helping clients make sense of the numbers and ensuring everything’s done right and on time since he joined us in 1990. When he isn’t delving into accounts or crunching payroll figures, you’ll find Lee enjoying quality time with his family and on the lookout for his next holiday to his favourite destination: Florida!

Kai Cheung

Kai is our go-to person in the Accounts department. With a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail since he joined Barter Durgan in 2018, Kai is all about making sure our financial records are spot-on. Whether it's helping with bookkeeping, preparing accounts, or assisting with tax, Kai is excited to support our clients every step of the way. Outside of work, you’ll find Kai spending time with family. He is also a passionate supporter of Pompey, enjoying both home and away matches whenever he can.
Kai is all about the live music scene, always up for a concert or festival adventure!

Beverley Waters
Reception
Bev has been one of the welcoming faces in our front of house team since 1984. As our Receptionist, Secretary and Office Admin, Bev has a knack for organisation and keeps everything running smoothly. From greeting clients and answering calls to ensuring the office stays organised, Bev does it all with a friendly smile. When she isn’t busy keeping the office in order, you can find Bev at the piano with her music group or happily ship spotting on the Round Tower with her camera!
Bev loves anything on or in the water, seeing her family, and can spend hours
creating graphics with AI technology.
Kathy Mead
Reception
Kathy is one of the friendly faces you’ll see when you walk through our doors. As our Receptionist, Secretary and Office Admin since 1995, Kathy is one of the first points of contact for clients and plays a vital role in keeping our office running smoothly. Kathy enjoys working behind the scenes to support our amazing team. When she isn’t at the front desk, Kathy is passionate about working as a private therapist helping people with a wide range of personal issues and loves reading and drinking tea (preferably together).
